Supercharge the mind/muscle connection
and get more out of your workouts. Biotest product testing
indicates that 45 minutes after using Power Drive, as recommended,
strength levels can increase by as much as 8-12%. Individual
results may vary widely.
Up until now, bodybuilding science has spent
all of its time trying to conquer the body while ignoring
the brain. The trouble is, everything is controlled by the
brain, and we're not just talking about memory or creativity
or feelings of well being, either. The brain controls how
well your muscles work. Ever wonder how some relatively
weak-looking guys can rip apart phone books or bend steel
rods in half? A lot of it has to do with muscle motor unit
recruitment.
Muscles are made up of individual motor
units and some people are gifted in that they're able to
recruit more of these motor units when it comes to performing
an act of strength.
Power Drive is designed to help you recruit
more of these motor units so that you experience an almost
immediate gain in strength and endurance. And, over the
long run, this enhanced ability to recruit motor units results
in bigger muscles. It stands to reason that, under normal
circumstances, the average weight trainer doesn't even begin
to work a good percentage of his or her muscle fibers. In
effect, these fibers "sit by" during an average
workout and receive very little direct stimulation. Without
stimulation or recruitment, they won't respond by growing!
The Power Drive formula is also designed
to improve fat mobilization, along with concentration, memory,
coordination, and endurance. It may, in some individuals,
also increase pain threshold and overall sense of well-being.

Lastly, Power Drive may prevent
age-related decreases in testosterone levels. As you age,
levels of a neurotransmitter called dopamine decrease, and
this causes an increase in a hormone called prolactin. Unfortunately,
increases in prolactin are accompanied by a decrease in
testosterone. Power Drive may elevate dopamine levels, thus
preventing the catabolic sequence.
The brain converts this to the stimulatory neurotransmitters
dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine (the last two
being the famous "fight or flight" hormones),
known collectively as catecholamines. Approximately 90%
of the brain's catecholamines are synthesized directly from
the amino acid tyrosine.
During the early 1980s, MIT scientist Richard
Wurtman discovered that tyrosine, when combined with a catalyst,
"enhances performance, improves subjective vigor, decreases
fatigue, diminishes subjective confusion, and decreases
tension and anxiety." Subsequent preliminary studies
performed by Dr. Jeffery Stout of the University of Nebraska
found that tyrosine, when administered about an hour before
working out, increased peak torque by 283% (during a set
of 15 bench presses).
In short, the evidence is strong that supplemental
tyrosine can improve performance as well as increase energy
levels, along with a host of other subjective feelings of
mental ability and well-being.
It's been shown to increase levels of another vital neurotransmitter
known as acetylcholine. This potent neurotransmitter has
been implicated in controlling motor unit recruitment, reflex
and reaction times, as well as memory.
This
is a well-known among life-extensionists as a "nootropic,"
or mind-enhancing chemical. Chemically, it works much the
same as phosphatidylcholine by helping increase levels of
the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
Power Drive is a sweet-tasting orange-flavored powder that
mixes easily in water (most people describe the taste as
being very similar to Tang). Power Drive was designed to
increase the levels of various stimulatory brain chemicals.
It does this by supplying the brain with the raw ingredients
it needs to manufacture these important stimulatory neurotransmitters.
Power Drive will improve the performance of strength athletes,
endurance athletes, and even those athletes who require
extreme concentration like marksmen or golfers. Businessman
or students might benefit from it too, as it will give them
unparalleled mental energy and drive.

Drive is "addictive" only in the sense that anything
that causes pleasurable sensations and feelings is addictive.
In other words, if something makes you feel good, you'll
probably want to use it again. However, none of the ingredients
have been shown to cause any physical addiction. All of
Power Drive's ingredients occur naturally in certain foods.
There
are no known negative side effects to Power Drive.
Each of the components of Power Drive
has been tested thoroughly in non-partisan laboratory experiments.
Biotest is currently conducting a study using NHL hockey
players and so far, the findings exceed all expectations.
Again,
results will vary from individual to individual, but it's
possible that some users may experience little or no effect
from the standard dosage. These individuals may wish to
cautiously experiment with larger dosages, but users should
not exceed two servings of Power Drive. Although we haven't
found any negative effects of larger doses, more studies
need to be done. |
